New Visiting Scholar from the University of Malta

Dr Bugeja, during his visit, will contribute to the life and the activities of the Department, including delivering two seminars on the EU common commercial policy and the EU economic and monetary union. 

Dr Bugeja graduated B.Ed. (Hons), M.A. (Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies), B.A. (Legal), Notary Public Diploma and LL.D. from the University of Malta, and Ph.D. with the thesis “Effective remedies in public procurement: The case for enhanced harmonisation”, from the University of Groningen, Department of European and Economic Law.

While climate change and pollution of the environment are partially caused by food production systems themselves, the same factors also have a direct negative impact on food security and food safety.
